Time has just ticked by... almost all my efforts on this site have been in upgrading the various pages that moved here from geocities: the fitness, Bible study, the Childbirth pages, and soon to come, quotations pages. Yahoo geocities has closed down their free hosting. I had been slowly transferring everything here, anyway. where has the time gone, though? I see I haven't put up new articles since 2007. It was a bit difficult to learn the ropes on some of the new software and RL certainly kept me busy.
The Garden site has taken most of the work and effort to produce a quality site; that, and the fact that social networking is the new thing for communication online. That has been fun to explore, but quite time consuming. We often speak of being consumers, but how often do we think of that in terms of time? We are all mass consumers of that nonrenewable resource. I will be keeping up with this page more through the year and as its mission takes form in my mind.

I like to keep track of the stock market, and it is proving to be a likely candidate for metaphorically describing the season so far. The wild ups and downs of the weather in the Midwest and Northeast, as well as something personal like my blogs! Sometimes it's up and lots of the time it's down. Just wild. |

I came across this darling Creuset casserole dish and it reminded me of how much I love the bright and cheerful celebration of Valentines Day. A long time ago, in internet time, I had some pages dedicated to Valentines. Today I wrote about it in my Happiness blog , but maybe I will collect some of the old pictures and recipes to post here and there on this site. |
